At CES 2022, Gentex displays multiple technologies focused on driver and cabin monitoring as well as new convenience features that will help automakers sell cars.
Gentex acquired Vaporsens (a University of Utah Start up) in April 2020 and is using that company’s nanofiber chemical-sensing technology in a sensor that can be installed in a vehicle’s HVAC system to detect the presence of smoke or vapor fumes.
