The University of Utah’s corporate engagement team and other PIVOT Center team members recently toured the College of Health’s newly renovated research space that will allow U health researchers to gain new insights into how human activity impacts wellbeing.
The new facilities will house hands-on suites and labs to further U research into some of the most crucial and basic things humans do daily: eating, sleeping, exercising and more.

“Given Utah’s No. 1 ranking in the nation for healthy behaviors, and a strong emphasis on recreational activities, we are excited to explore how we might engage with industry to further leverage this important research to benefit the broader community,” said University of Utah’s Chief Corporate Engagement Officer Patti Ross.
“Being new to the university, I’m excited to continue partnering with the College of Health to implement and accelerate its important work,” said Bruce Hunter, who joined PIVOT Center as its Executive Director of Technology Commercialization in January.
