Applying for grants is a crucial step in any research project, but you don’t have to do it alone. The University of Utah has resources across campus to help you submit successful grant proposals, including a new service offered by PIVOT Center.
Many grants now require investigators to submit a Commercialization Plan or other related commercialization information, in addition to traditional grant components, to show how your research will impact real people.
Gathering the required info can be daunting on top of everything else a U researcher does, and that’s where PIVOT comes in. Our team can help you conduct a market analysis to not only comply with the grant requirements, but to also gain insight into your research’s potential impact and reach.
In partnership with the grant support team from the Office of the Vice President for Research, our market research analysts can assist with the research to identify the necessary market information for the commercialization section of the grant.
To schedule a time to discuss your research and grant proposals, contact PIVOT Director of Innovation Management Kyrsten Woolstenhulme at Kyrsten.Woolstenhulme@utah.edu. Please plan for a 2-week lead time.
